Fashion trends and timeless clothing

With the crisis is the phenomenon of fashion "under pressure". If we do a considerable amount for a garment down counting, there is a long time we have fun. Garments that meet volatile fashion should not cost much more because you know in advance that would no longer than one season will go.

Timeless fashion versus the balance which we consciously or unconsciously while shopping to make. The balance at this time in "timeless" pass. Heritage brands to hold their line and come up with classics that will last a lifetime.

The designers with the dilemma of 'trend' vs 'classic' or 'conventional' wrestling is immediately clear when the fashion collections for next seasons looks. On the one hand you have the timeless brands - is expected by the experts - always sell, how much are these brands. On the other hand you have the relatively new and trendy brands. Here are the different camps.

There are designers who believe that at this moment with an absolute 'gadget' to come, an exceptional, unique and trendy item, in order to convince the public to purchase. There are other fashion designers but, unlike their previous collections, with conventional designs that might not be timeless, but in any case easy and much to bear.

We have ourselves a sort of buy-worded directive. For a long time classics go, what are we willing to spend more. Delivered and super trendy items must in all respects (including price-wise) a "joke" being. And occasionally you may yourself with an excessive, extraordinary item and mad - an absolute 'I-should-have-it' thing - treat.

For while shopping and not to stray to our 'own' directive 'to hold, we have compiled a list of garments that we believe it is worthwhile for summer 2010 to invest:

1. The Boyfriend blazer

Already a few seasons in fashion. Nice pants with a classic but also a short dress or skirt. Easy to wear and super chic. For us a winner who - even though it is not a timeless item - definitely worth it.

2. The Little black dress

The black dress since the days of Audrey Hepburn no longer fashionable to imagine. A garment that you'll never have enough. Perfect way to wear, but in cool weather can be combined with other garments.

3. A Classic zomerbroek

A zomerbroek with a contemporary look creates a modern and 'new' feeling. Go for a model that is often easy to bear and combine. Avoid bright colors if you wear a lot of fun to have.

4. A Top with sequins

Time and again they come back into fashion. This summer you wear sequins both evening and daytime. For an elegant and festive look. Go for a tip or clothing that whole (not just the front) is covered with sequins (unless you tip under your boyfriend blazer wearing).

5. A Summer tailleur

The tailor - plus matching blazer jacket or skirt - is pretty timeless and certainly if you're handy. For a fairly classic model and wear it as much as you can. With different tops and accessories you can each time a different look of it. 

6. A Zomerjas

A summer jacket or trench coat who have to bear any outfit, is perhaps one of the best investments you can make for a Dutch summer. Again, go for muted colors and observe the fit and quality.

7. A Classic bag (an accessory but well ...)

A classic zomertas that you can combine all your outfits, is a must have. A small investment worth.


8. White blouse

With a white blouse is always good. Whether you 'm now in a skirt, shorts or jeans.

9. Sweet summer buds

Feel that itch buy, go for contemporary tops and T-shirts for your summer look with updating. Trousers or skirt from last year gets a new look. Tops and T-shirts are easy and always good. 




10. A Timeless evening dress

A floral dress for festive occasions are always a good investment. Such a dress that you always for the day (or night) you can get. One item that you can always fall back.

11. A Classic pantsuit

The pantsuit is back in this summer and this garment has one big advantage: you never have to think about how you will reconcile. You pull it and you're done.Choose the suit in a classic color and you'll have endless fun.




12. Always a good swimsuit

With a slim black swimsuit, you can miss the board.Endlessly chic & versatile.
